Your followers dropped: what to do right now

Do not panic, and do not order more straight away. A falling count is common and usually fixable. Work through this list in order.

1. Measure the drop

Write down the count before and after, and the date. A drop of a few percent is normal churn. A sudden, large drop usually means a platform clean-up or a batch of low-quality accounts being removed. Take a screenshot so you can compare later.

2. Check whether others are affected

If several creators you know lost followers on the same day, it was almost certainly a platform-wide clean-up. Nothing is wrong with your account, and part of it often settles within a day or two.

3. Wait 24 to 48 hours

Counts sometimes settle or partly recover. Ordering again in the middle of a fluctuation makes it harder to see what is stable and what is not.

4. Request refill if your order has it

Open My orders, find the completed order and press Refill. You can request once every 24 hours during the guarantee period. If your service said “No refill”, there is no top-up, and the options in step 6 apply.

5. Do not change the account while it runs

Making the account private or changing your username while a refill is pending can cause it to fail, since the supplier can no longer find the profile.

6. Decide how to prevent a repeat

• Choose a service with refill next time, especially for a business page.
• Order in smaller steps instead of one large batch.
• Keep followers in proportion with likes and views so a clean-up does not distort your ratios.
• Put more effort into real content, which real followers keep.

7. If the drop is unusually large

Check whether your account has any warnings under Account Status in Instagram settings, and whether you changed anything such as username, privacy or linked accounts. If you ordered from us and the drop is within your refill period, contact support with the order number.
