How to protect your account when using growth services: a safety checklist

Published 16 October 2026 · 1 min read

If you use any growth service, a handful of habits remove most of the practical risk. They cost nothing and take a few minutes.

The checklist

  1. Never share your password. If a site asks for it, leave. A service only needs a public link.
  2. Turn on two-factor authentication on every social account, using an authenticator app rather than SMS if possible.
  3. Use only public links. You never need to give access to your account or approve any app.
  4. Start with a small order and watch what happens for a few days before ordering more.
  5. Keep numbers proportionate to your real engagement so the profile looks natural.
  6. Do not stack many services at once on the same link. Let each order finish first.
  7. Use a unique password for the panel itself, different from your email and social accounts.

Audit your connected apps

Open each platform’s settings and review third-party apps with access to your account. Remove anything you do not recognise. Scam “growth apps” often ask for login access.

If something feels wrong

  • Change your social account password immediately.
  • Log out of all devices.
  • Revoke access for unknown apps.
  • Check your recovery email and phone number are yours.

Why this matters

The largest real harm in this industry comes from scams that steal accounts, not from the engagement itself. These habits close that door. For the wider question, read our honest safety guide.
