Story: meaning and how it works

A story is a photo or video that disappears after 24 hours unless saved to a highlight.

Stories are for your existing followers: polls, behind the scenes and daily updates.

How it works in practice

Stories appear at the top of the app and are seen mostly by followers. They suit informal updates, polls and questions, and they disappear after 24 hours unless saved.

Example

Example: a salon posts a poll “Which hair colour next?” and answers the winner in tomorrow’s story.
