SMM panel: meaning and how it works

Published 1 October 2026

An SMM panel is a website where you buy social media marketing services such as followers, likes, views and members using a prepaid wallet.

You add money, choose a service from a list, paste a link and the order is delivered by suppliers behind the panel. Panels list prices per 1,000 units, plus minimum and maximum quantities and notes about speed and refill.

In India, most panels now accept UPI. Read the full guide to SMM panels for risks and how to choose one.

How it works in practice

In practice a panel shows a long list of services grouped by platform. Each line gives a name, a price per 1,000, a minimum and maximum quantity and notes such as speed and refill. You choose, paste a link and confirm.

Example

Example: you want 1,000 Instagram likes on a reel. You pick a likes service at about ₹13 to ₹40 per 1,000, paste the reel link, enter 1,000 and the total appears before you confirm.
